WHAT GENRE IS THE SHORTEN CHRONICLES?
The first Shorten Chronicles series is romantic time travel with elements of mystery and science fiction. Perfect for readers who love Outlander or the All Souls Trilogy. The second Shorten Chronicles series (publication date, 2027) is urban fantasy. Set in the same universe, it features the same characters.
DO I NEED TO READ THE NOVELLAS IN THE FIRST SERIES?
You do not need to read the novellas in the first series to enjoy the main books. Intermezzo can be read as a standalone rom-com and Murder at Shorten Manor is a self-contained cosy mystery. Both are only available from Rosalind's Fantasy Bookshop.

Rosalind Tate is the British author of the Shorten Chronicles, the bestselling romantic time travel novels and other books. She lives in Gloucestershire, England. Before becoming a writer, she served in the British military, then worked as a journalist and a lawyer.
WHAT INSPIRED THE SHORTEN CHRONICLES?
The idea for Stranded came to Rosalind while she was watching an episode of Downton Abbey on television, when she wondered how a modern young woman would cope with living in such a grand house in the past? The answer is ... badly.
The first series grew from there.
